What Makes an Indosole
Every component of an Indosole is chosen with intention — for performance, for ethics, for the planet. This is not greenwashing. This is engineering with a conscience.
WHAT GOES IN
Our Materials Process
1) Collected from waste stockyards
We source tires that would otherwise sit in landfills, accumulate in illegal dumps, or be burned for fuel — releasing toxic black carbon into the air and heavy metals into the ground. Our collection network identifies these waste stockpiles and diverts them before the damage is done.
2) Ground into powder using SETT
Our proprietary SETT technology breaks each tire down completely — steel bead to sidewall. The rubber is precision-ground into a fine, consistent powder. Unlike conventional shredding methods, SETT recovers 100% of each tire with no off-cuts and no residue left behind. The machine was engineered for one purpose: zero waste.
3) Formed into your Indosole
The recycled rubber powder is blended with ethically sourced natural rubber — creating a compound with real grip, real durability, and a feel underfoot that synthetic materials can't replicate. Pressed and formed into the outsoles that define us: unmistakable, enduring, and made from something the world had given up on.
