Repurposed Shelves in San Clemente

Spencer made another awesome video for the Reprocessing series. This time he made shelves for our San Clemente showroom out of salvaged wood. Watch it to learn more about this process, check out the end product, and see how clever our Spencer is. Reprocess: Salvaged Shelving from IndoSole on Vimeo. Ps. Are we friends on facebook yet?

Repurpose Wednesday

This video is super rad! Shwood uses old skate decks to create sunglasses. This is a great example of how we can take old materials and make new things that are just as interesting, unique, and nice looking. We like the idea of re-purposing used materials to create a totally new design. Sweet! Experiment No. 1 - Skateboard Shades from Shwood Eyewear on Vimeo. A little more about Shwood "Based in Portland, Oregon Shwood creates handcrafted wooden eyewear using fine exotic hardwoods. Shwood’s in-house manufacturing process merges precision technology with classic skilled craftsmanship to create a timeless art form. Every step from veneering and precision lens cutting, to shaping and finishing is conducted in our own Portland-based workshop to promise an entirely handcrafted eyewear piece. New IndoSign in San Clemente

We at IndoSole believe in giving old things a new utility...a new life. Our passion is to scavenge and source stuff that had a previous use. Then, re-create and re-purpose that material into something else. This time we sourced and re-purposed masonite from an old skate ramp. Now, its a sign at IndoSole's office in San Clemente, CA. Check out the video! Reprocessed: Indo Sign from IndoSole on Vimeo. Acted, produced, and edited by: IndoSole boy wonder - Spencer Sheehan
